On Friday 24 April, our Year 6 students enjoyed a special Summer Sports Fun Day to make up for the unfortunate cancellation of the Summer Carnival and it turned into an afternoon full of energy and smiles!
After lunch, classes wrapped up and students were placed into teams, ready to jump into a mix of summer sports including Tee-Ball, Volleyball and Basketball. The teamwork, enthusiasm and friendly competition made the whole afternoon feel like a mini carnival of its own.
A huge thank you to Mrs Shaw, Mr Virgo, Miss Jenkins and Mr Dockings for bringing the fun, being flexible, and running a sport. The event was such a success thanks to your enthusiasm and support.
The Vasse Oval was buzzing as students played alongside their peers and teachers. To top it all off, everyone finished the day with an icy pole and a chance to relax and chat with their mates – the perfect way to wrap up a fun-filled Friday.
