On Friday, 14 November, Vasse Primary proudly participated in the first Cape Interschool Athletics Carnival in many years. Despite light showers throughout the day, the weather couldn’t dampen the energy, enthusiasm or competitive spirit of our students.
A team of 50 athletes represented Vasse Primary across a range of events, including the 200m, Sprints, Throws, Long Jump, Relays, and Team Games. Our students truly shone in the Sprints and Relays, explosive speed and sharp coordination proved to be our strengths!
All the hard work and training paid off, with students giving their best in every event. Beyond the competition, Vasse students showed outstanding sportsmanship, cheering on their peers and building camaraderie with students from other schools.
A huge thank you to West Busselton Primary for hosting such a fabulous event. We’re already looking forward to next year!
