We’re thrilled to share that Vasse Primary has received $47,740 through the Department of Education’s Community Use Agreement Grant, allowing us to significantly improve our shared sporting facilities.
This funding has delivered two major upgrades: our brand‑new reversible basketball/netball goals and four portable soccer goals. These additions are already transforming Phys. Ed. lessons, break‑time play, and after‑school sports by providing safer, more flexible and high‑quality spaces for students to train and play.
I’m genuinely excited about what these improvements mean for both our school and the wider Vasse sporting community. With more than 19 basketball teams now training at Vasse, netball participation set to grow, and multiple soccer teams regularly using our courts and oval, the impact is already huge. These upgrades support local clubs, reduce travel for families, and help turn our school into a vibrant community hub where students and families can come together through sport.

This is a big win for Vasse students, families, and the entire community — and we’re so proud to see it come to life.
