What a fantastic day for our Cross Country! With beautiful, moderate weather on our side, the event kicked off with our excited Year 1 runners and wrapped up with the Year 6s completing their final Vasse Primary Cross Country.
We had a few entertaining false starts throughout the morning , our students were very eager to get going and tackle their long‑distance challenge. A standout moment came from the Year 5 girls’ race, where Jayda and Scarlett crossed the line together in a rare and impressive dead‑heat for first place. Well done to both runners.
A huge thank you to the Cape Naturaliste College Phys. Ed. students and Mr Hopkins for taking on all officiating roles throughout the day. Your support was invaluable and helped the event run smoothly from start to finish.
We also extend our thanks to the Hayley family for bringing their coffee van along, it was a crowd favourite and added a great buzz to the morning.
