100 days at school – 27 July activities galore

On Monday 27 July, we celebrated 100 days of school at Vasse PS.

The Year 1’s rotated classrooms to do some fun activities related to the number 100. As we have been learning to skip count by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s this year it was a great opportunity to revise and demonstrate our learning.

In Room 19 we made 100 balls to glue onto a gum ball machine. In Room 20 we wrote 100 words to make a paper chain.

In Room 21 we drew 100 things relating to the ocean, beach, sky, garden and the bush.

In Room 22 we drew pictures of ourselves being 100 years old! There was lots of laughter and counting happening in each classroom.

Whole School Lunchtime activities

The whole school were invited to participate in outdoor lunchtime activities to celebrate. They were shooting for 100 goals on the basketball courts, throwing for 100 points in the quad and participating in a Hundred Day Relay on the oval. It was a fun day to celebrate being 100 days smarter in each year level.
