Vasse students took part in the 26th annual National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday, 27th May in the library with Jeff the Galah.
Every year, a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, childcare centres and many other places around the country.
This year, we enjoyed Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller about a rookie soccer captain leading her team, FC Outback, against the dominating Bush United. Authors Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd have created a heartfelt story in which Luna Roo shows her courage, determination and the benefits of believing in yourself.
