Our Year 3 students recently enjoyed a special visit to the Year 6 classroom to learn how to play the maths card game Numero. The Year 6 students did a fantastic job teaching the rules, explaining strategies, and supporting the younger students as they played. It was wonderful to see students from different year levels working together so positively and confidently.
Throughout the session, the Year 3 students had lots of fun while strengthening important maths skills. The activity encouraged teamwork, communication, and perseverance, and many students were excited to continue playing the game back in their own classroom. It was a valuable learning experience for everyone involved.
