Book Week Extraordinaire!

The Vasse Book Week Parade on Thursday 21 August was once again a highlight of the year.

All students got into the spirit of the theme ‘Going on an Adventure’ with each class taking their turn in the parade to do a lap of the Quad in front of proud parents, grandparents and carers.

There was some very creative costumes from a house complete with balloons from Up, the Tyrannical Talking Toilet from Captain Underpants and the Snail and the Whale, to Hedwig from Harry Potter.

The costumes, creativity and excitement the Book Week brings to our community is a great showcase of the joy of reading.

Well done to the students and families for the thought and work that went into the great variety of costumes.

It was quite the parade!
