Well done to the Year 5 students who participated in the RugbyWA Gold Blooded Tour clinic today. Former Wallabies and Wallaroos including Sam Norton and Rebecca Clough came along with Jason Marrable – Regional Manager, and his team from RugbyWA, and ran engaging activities for students highlighting the game of Rugby Union.
With a focus on developing popularity and strength in the WA regional areas, the sessions were great fun, and the students especially enjoyed a game of tag rugby against the former internationals. Vasse hopes to have them back again early next year.
They were also here to promote the current international series against the Springboks (South Africa). The Wallabies will take them on again this weekend at Perth’s Optus Stadium.
