This week, the Rainbow Breathing Strawberries of Room 28 were excited to welcome some very special new additions to their classroom—tiny spiny leaf insects!
Students showed great curiosity and care as they observed and gently handled the fragile creatures. The arrival of these fascinating insects has already brought much joy and excitement to our classroom.
It has been especially rewarding to see some students, who previously felt quite fearful of insects, demonstrate remarkable resilience and courage. By choosing to engage with the insects, they built trust and confidence, and their growing interest has sparked thoughtful conversations, questions, and a sense of wonder among the class.
We look forward to continuing this learning journey and discovering more about our new leafy friends!
