If you have been shopping at The Vasse Village recently you would have seen a beautiful mural being created…you may have even painted a little of it on Saturday. Some of our classes were lucky enough to have a visit from mural artist Melski McVee last week. She spoke to us about where she finds her inspiration for her artwork and how she has developed her own personal style. The kids now have a deeper understanding of the amount of work that goes into creating a large scale Artwork.
KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED for another ARTWORK in progress. Our Year 5/6s have been working with Mr Robyn Bigwood, who has volunteered his time to create a mural at the Broadwater Shopping Centre.
The design has been created using sketches the kids have worked on in class and painting begins next week. The Year 5/6’s, Ms Miezis and Mr Bigwood will be down at the shops after school from Monday to Thursday painting. More beautiful Art for our Community!
