On Thursday 18 July Kaboom Percussion came to Vasse PS and performed with recycled items as percussion instruments. The performance was fast and they got kids into using percussion to create music and more. They were amazing and I hope they come back again. Jack D, Year 6
Josh and Carissa are such skilled musicians! Josh’s homemade instruments – the tin can cimbalom and his bucket drumming rig were fantastic. He thought of everything, even how to hang the drum kit around his neck 😁
Ari, Isaac, Finn, and Izaak, were a few of the kids who volunteered to go up on stage to be a bit silly.
Ari and Finn were great nutty professors. 😊
Another creative, professional, awe-inspiring incursion enjoyed by lots of our kids at Vasse.
Their version of the Cup Song even included a little bit of magic. Mrs Bigwood
And Laycee, Year 6 noted…
- The Percussionists were very quick while performing.
- They interacted with students to do buddy percussion.
- Some students even got a chance to go up on the stage for some acting roles and percussion.
- They had practiced hard and it was super cool.
