Kiyu has just returned from Adelaide after competing above her age group, and successfully facing this challenge in the Junior State Championship, bringing home the ribbons; 4th for vault, 5th for floor, 6th for beam, and 5th overall. Well done Kiyu. We will watch this space and hope your dream of becoming an Olympian comes true.
Going to Adelaide – 2023 Gymnastics WA Team

Hello! My name is Kiyu and I have enjoyed gymnastics since I was 4 years old…
Kiyu has been selected as a member of the 2023 Gymnastics WA Country Team to compete in Adelaide at the Junior State Championship. Kiyu’s place on the Country Team is a testament to her dedication, commitment, and hard work.
For the first time in almost twenty years South Australia will host a national competition, welcoming ACT, TAS, NT and WA to take part in the 2023 Junior State Championships in a blockbuster four-day event to be held at the Adelaide 36ers Arena.
My favourite event is definitely the Floor Events. I love doing tumbles like backflips, backhand springs, and front flips. I have done so many routines, and have many 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals. Gymnastics is my most favourite sport in the world! I love it so much.
My goal is to compete in the Olympics, and although I am not sure whether I will reach this goal, I will try my best. Thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets, helping our team to go to Adelaide!
