Interm Swimming Lessons (PP-Yr3) Group 1 commences 15 June
The 2026 Interm Swimming Enrolment form has been sent home with your child. Please complete this form and return it to your Classroom teacher ASAP.
Please complete the consent form and payment in Compass. Cost $65 per student.
Swimming lessons will take place from Monday, 15 June to 26 June, 2026. During this time, Pre Primary to Year 3 students will participate in sessions at the Geographe Leisure Centre
Swimming is an integral part of the Physical Education curriculum, endorsed by the Department of Education. For our students, who live and recreate in a community surrounded by water, this program is especially valuable. It provides them with the opportunity to develop essential swimming skills in a safe, structured and fully supervised environment.
Key benefits of participating include:
- Gain familiarity and confidence in an open water environment
- Building water confidence and safety awareness
- Developing fundamental swimming strokes and techniques
- Enhancing physical fitness, coordination and endurance
Students will need to bring: a towel, bathers, a rash vest, a hat, sunscreen, and a plastic bag for wet clothes on the bus. Extra snacks in their lunch box on swimming days are suggested – swimming seems to make them extra hungry 🙂.
- Session 1 classes depart by bus at 10.35 am. All other groups aim to leave 25 minutes before lesson time.
