Incursion: WAnjoo with Gina & Guy

Dear Parents,
This incursion was originally scheduled on the 27 May but due to unforeseen circumstances postponed to Monday 22 July 2024 – thank you to the parents who have already paid – for the whole school to commemorate Reconciliation Week.
Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse will perform their popular WAnjoo workshop. The students will learn about and celebrate the rich diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories through music and song. This engaging workshop targets all students to enjoy and connect with Indigenous culture, and learn the Noongar language.
Two 50-minute sessions in the HIVE. Times to be confirmed.
Students will be encouraged to sing along and will sing one of Gina’s songs they have been learning in music.
The cost of the incursion is $3.00 per student.
