During wellness in week 10 students participated in some special problem-solving team games.
In this game, each student has a piece of pipe, and without moving their feet, they had to work together to transport the ‘radioactive material’ (golf ball) to the waste dump (paint-pot) without moving their feet, the ball touching the ground or the ball touching their hands.
The students had to work through their frustrations of this not being an easy task and resisting the urge to blame others when things went wrong! They also experienced the joy of success, after discussing different ways to solve the problem and many unsuccessful attempts.
