Happy Indonesian Independence Day!
Although 17 August is Independence Day in Indonesia, we were lucky at Vasse PS to celebrate all things Indonesian on Tuesday 24 August. Students and parent helpers dressed up in Traditional costumes or wore red and white to symbolise the Indonesian Flag. Students played Indonesian games at lunch time during the week, learnt dances and how to create Indonesian batik.Plus Chef Mo with helpers, cooked Mie Goreng for 350 hungry students.See the recipe below… ENAK SEKALI!See T3 Wk7 Newsletter for more on this wonderful school event.
