The National Simultaneous Storytime event today at Vasse Primary School was a great success.
Mrs. Joan Davies read aloud the story, “Alpacas with Maracas” by Australian author Matt Cosgrove, to a packed house (a.k.a. undercover area) of students, teachers and parents. The story: “Macca and pal Al are the best of friends so when there is an opportunity to enter a talent contest together, they just can’t resist. Narrated eloquently and with great humour, our very own “talking alpaca” sat front and centre, amongst the colourful props and musically themed stage.
A wonderful way to start our Wednesday. #1milionkidsreading
