Yet another amazing morning on Sunday 24 August. The kids (and Dads) were brave enough to take on the possibility of some wild weather and took to the trails. We were pleasantly surprised when the rain cleared away as the Vasse Fathering Group (VFG) trailer rolled up to the trailhead of The Pines near Margaret River.
Nature looked kindly upon us, as more than 30 Dads and kids split off into groups, all led by some amazing locals who volunteered to guide us through the MTB Trail expertly.
Smiles were aplenty as we rode the winding and free-flowing trails such as the fluid, big pine, humpty dumpty, and the popular loosey-goosey. The trails were in great condition with just enough water and mud!
As the morning rolled by the BBQ was lit and the sausage sizzle was on hand to feed the hungry riders.
Once again, a big shout out to all the volunteers who gave up their time to show us all these great trails. Also thank you to The Hairy Marron and Dunsborough Bike Shed for supporting us on the day.
