We need Dad Leaders – Vasse Fathering Project

The Fathering Project at Vasse Primary has been a great success and run for the last 4 years since 2020. The group has run over 25 highly successful events and has engaged 1851 participants of Dads, families, and kids over this time. This amazing success has not happened by itself and there have been many VFP Dad Leaders who have contributed to plan and make these events happen.

There is a core group of Dad leaders who have been there from the start. A special shout out to Brian Blanchard who has led the direction and group for the last 3 years. Brian has stepped away from this role and I have stepped in. However, in 2024 I will be taking a year off to travel around this wonderful country with my family.
I would love to see the sustainability and success of the group continue, so we are also seeking new Dad leaders to come on board.
Meetings are very informal and planning and participation are very easy. By joining the group you will meet a whole bunch of Dads you might not have known before and build your school community network.
The Dad Leaders group and friendships I have made have been one of the most rewarding aspects of volunteering my time.
