Our Year 6 students have been training for our Interschool Summer Carnival. Our annual event took place in Busselton on Wednesday 27 March. Schools from Busselton and Dunsborough competed in a fun round-robin tournament in three summer sports. Our Vasse students participated in beach volleyball, basketball, and tee ball.
Vasse Primary students were strong competitors across all sports. Students displayed excellent sportsmanship and strived to perform and be their best at all times.
There were many positives from the day. Our Basketball team demonstrated a very high level of competitive spirit. Our volleyball teams skills improved with exceptional serving and setting skills, as well as having fun with plenty of laughs. Lastly, our Tee-ball team demonstrated some superb batting and fielding.
A Big Thank You to our parent volunteers, SEDA students, and Year 6 Staff who also attended this event to assist with coaching and supporting all the teams. Our day was a huge success because of our wonderful community coming together for our Vasse students.
